Error message"Microsoft visual c++ Runtime library"?
How frustrating no response from Konami, first thing to do is make sure your PC is up to date. Check Windows update for any updates, find the latest drivers for your graphics card. Also Direct X does not update automatically, you need to go and find the latest update from Microsoft themselves! Finally check the Konami/Pro evo websites see if there is an update patch for your game.
This page should help you if you don't know how to update your system:-
http://www.top-windows-tutorials.com/mic...
If none of that helps, try turning off any unnecessary start-up applications:-
http://www.top-windows-tutorials.com/how... (for xp or)
http://www.top-windows-tutorials.com/Spe... (for Vista)
If none of the above helps, I'd try contacting Konami again, look in the back of the manual there should be a telephone number.
Reply:You usually get that error when you write c++ code in one program and then rey to open it in another, so there possibly isn't much you can do with a game of that type.
Check you have the correct system requirements, un-install and install again and keep pestering Konami!!

Reply:Hi fencingfanatic13,
It looks to be a problem with the windows explorer. The reasons it could be happening is that there might be a program that is changing the extension to the windows explorer. Such as adding new menu items for a application or even a small change. In short you can look at if you have installed any new applications and if they have changed some routines. Another problem could be malware or other adware programs such as these that have been recently installed.
